Meet Our Pastor
The Reverend Nathaniel Evans Ford is a native of Gainesville, Florida. He and his wife Erlene, have three adult children Kip, Marcus, and Natalie. His educational background was attained from local schools in Alachua County, Florida including, the University of Florida, Lincoln High School, and A.Q.Jones Elementary.
Pastor Ford has worked extensively with various age groups in the capacity of a Deacon, Minister of Young Adults, Local Youth Director, and State Director of Crusader Boys. He has been in the Christian Ministry since 1984.
His employment background with the FedEx Corp., the US Army, and as a job interviewer with the University of Florida has afforded him considerable interaction with people of different cultures, social, and economic status, and various levels and aspects of personal need.
Pastor Ford’s calling into this Ministry began the latter part of 1998 and culminated shortly after the death of a young man whom he had the opportunity to minister to the evening before his death. At this young man’s funeral, while observing other young men in apparent need of help, he began to more fully understand and appreciate what God was leading him to do. Urgings from the Spirit of God, encouragement from co-laborers, his desire to impact lives, and his sincere concern about the spiritual welfare of people has been and continue to be the driving forces behind this God-Inspired Mission. |
